System 'Create Date' Issue in Pivot Report

Hey Ragic,

I’m having a bit of a snag. For some reason, I can’t use the ‘Create Date’ system field in the Pivot Report.

Any insights or workarounds would be massively appreciated.

Please create a new date field and apply the $DATE or $DATETIME default value and use that field in your pivot table report.

Thank you for responding. i did that and it works. However, it’s more like a workaround. I don’t understand why I need to create a new field.

Hi,

System fields cannot be used as referenced fields in pivot tables, which means you need another $DATE or $DATETIME default value applied to a date field to do so.
