"Selection" field

Hi,
I have a “selection” field we’ll call X. For most of the records it is blank and I want that- makes it easy to sort and filter. Sometimes I will assign a record a value for X for a while and then want to change it back to blank but it looks like I can’t. Once a record has a value I need to give it another nonempty value. SO my question is: Is there away to do this? If not can I convert the fields to multiple selection, which does allow backwards movement, without loss of data?

Hi,

You can press the delete key on your keyboard to clear the value of a selection field. That way, you don’t need to assign it with other values.

Wow, that was simple , thanks! What had not worked was trying to select it first, but that is clearly not needed. Thank you!
