This feature would be enhanced for my team if there was a way to only have this email fire IF there are records that match this criteria.
As a user, we tend to use these reports to catch outliers, but we now get many weekly reports that are blank… See the example picture.
Who else on this thread would find this helpful? Does anyone else battle multiple 0 record emailed reports daily/weekly?

I would like to have the option to avoid the report being sent if there’s no records matching the criteria.
However, it would be nice if a notification can still be sent to notify that there’s no record matching the criteria. This way we would know that the report function is working, just that no record matches the criteria.
As currently this function will only send out the email with generated excel file according to the schedule, instead of generating the file first and see if there’s records or not then sending out the email, for now system can’t identify if there’s no matched records that will be exported in the excel file attached in the email, there’s difficulty to support “not to send out the scheduled report email if no matched records,” especially the performance impact might increases if this needs to be checked every time before sending out the email.
We will still forward your feedbacks to our development team and see if there’s any chance to change the rule how this function works.
