Can a form/data be saved on a local mobile device when no 3G coverage is available and mobile device is offline - let’s say when you do a survey in a computer room or secure room?
Need to save and the device to sync with server as soon as device is online again

We are currently doing some design on offline edits, however, the biggest thing is that right now formula calculation and link and load would require server connection to work. Would this offline feature still be useful if formulas and link and load are disabled during offline?
Would love to any thoughts on this.

Yes…offline feature will be helpful to save data as when doing onsite audit, no calculation is required only capturing of information. Requirement is to be able to do offline and as soon as connection is available again, the device must sync with the server and sync the data

Thank you for continuing to use Ragic! Starting with version 4.4.15, you can add or edit records in the Ragic App even when your internet connection is unstable or unavailable, such as during factory inspections or fieldwork.
【How It Works】
・Records created offline are saved as “Drafts.”
・Changes to existing records made offline are saved as “Pending edits.”
・Both are stored only on your phone and will not be uploaded automatically. Once you have an internet connection again, open the draft or pending edit, review the contents, and tap “Save” to submit the record to your database.
【Before You Go Offline】

Creating records offline: Simply open the sheet once while connected to the internet. You do not need to download offline data in advance.

Editing existing records offline:
・If you have downloaded the sheet’s offline data: You can open any record from the listing page and edit it, even when completely offline.
・If you have not downloaded offline data: Open the specific record while connected to the internet and stay on that record’s page before going offline.
Before heading out, we recommend opening each sheet you will need while you have an internet connection. If you need to edit records in an area with no signal at all, please download the offline data for those sheets in advance.
【Things to Keep in Mind While Offline】
・Formulas will not be calculated, and default values will not be populated. These will be applied automatically when you open the draft after reconnecting.
・Link and Load fields require an internet connection to make selections.
・Deleting offline data under “Offline Data” on the home page also clears the sheet design stored in the App. You will need to open the sheet again while connected to the internet before you can create records offline.
・If a colleague edits the same record in the web version while you are offline: Changes to different fields will both be kept. If the same field is edited, the value saved later will take precedence, and the system will not display a notification. For records shared by multiple users, we recommend saving as soon as possible after reconnecting.
【A Few More Tips】
・Drafts and pending edits are available on the home page and at the top of the listing page. To delete one, press and hold its card on the home page.
・Each user can only see their own drafts. Users who sign in with different accounts on the same phone cannot see each other’s drafts.
