Removing unique attribute

I need to remove the unique attribute from a field to allow duplicate names but I get this message and am unable to alter the design of my sheet:

"Currently, your Character Name field is set as the linking source in:

Character B Field in the Script Library Sheet.
Character C Field in the Script Library Sheet.
Character A Field in the Script Library Sheet.

Therefore, you should not remove the “unique” attribute from the Character Name field."

Please help.

This means you are trying to remove a linked source field in various link and load relationships. The linked source field disallows duplicate values, which means you will not be able to remove its unique attribute.

I understand. This causes me a problem as I need to populate this field with names which inevitably have some duplicates.

Any advice / suggestions about how to tackle this issue?

Hi,

You would have to modify/remove the link and load relationships listed in the error message to be able to remove the unique attribute of that linked source field.
