Ragic through API permissions

Our company’s internal department is using an intelligent customer service system that needs to directly query all forms within Ragic through API permissions. However, when we use our API permissions, it always shows as having only guest access, which means we are unable to query the data.

It would be nice to see the resolution of this so we can learn from it

Hi, thanks for posting! You’re absolutely right—sharing how issues are resolved can be really valuable for the community.

Since each API setup can vary, we typically ask users to provide specific API configuration details when connection issues occur. This allows our development team to investigate and offer tailored guidance. In the meantime, here are a few general troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Double-check your API URL: Make sure the ? is used to separate the URL from the parameters, and & is used to separate individual parameters.
  2. Test parameters individually: If your sheet setup is complex, using multiple parameters at once can make it harder to pinpoint the issue. Try testing each parameter one at a time and compare the results. This can help identify which parameter isn’t working as expected, so you can narrow down potential field-related issues.

If the issue persists after trying the above steps, feel free to reach out to us at support@ragic.com. Since these cases may involve sensitive business information, please include the following details in your message:

  • A brief description of how the API connection is not working as expected
  • The troubleshooting steps you’ve already taken
  • Any supporting information, such as screenshots of error messages or a link to a Ragic record that failed to update

We’ll be happy to take a closer look and assist you further!
