new user enquiry, Customer direct edits of their own data

I wish to create an online database directory of artisan producers.

I would like each artisan to be able to enter and edit their own data but only their data from a Artisan date entry form.

Is the database hosted on the Rajic system or do I need to lodge this on my own webpage.

Hi @djm - The data and the database schema of what you would like to create, are both hosted in the Cloud database infrastructure of Ragic company. In case you want to have specific link or webpage in your website, so that the users visit your website and input data, with access to only their own “part” of it
A) you can hook Ragic link in your own website - so that users go from website to Ragic and then input.
OR
You can hook Ragic link in your own website - so that users input data in the input form when in your website - without being redirected to central Ragic infrastructure.

B) Anything that has to do with - Artisan (A) must deal only woth his data and NOT Artisan (B) etc, this can be handled by Access Rights setup.

Hope this helps.
Let me know whenever you can.

Thanks, that’s really helpful.

Plan would be simply to host all data through your platform.

How can I remove account users and change my default email from djm@grampianenergy.com to davejmcg@aol.com

hello @djm - let’s take things one by one.

A) Remove Account Users
How many account users do you have ? When you say Account Users, you mean also the Artisans? Only the Artisans? or You also ?

Additionally to the above, are the Artisans External Guest users? or Account users of Ragic for whom you pay for? (Do you pay Ragic membership for the Artisans?).

You must answer to both me and You these questions, so that you may be able to proceed.

B) Changing default email from “…” to another
When You say default email - you mean your Main User email in the Account Setup menu ?
(see below)
Account Setup - User

If you mean this indeed, you can double click on your Account user, enter inside the form of details, and go to the Email field, change your basic email , SAVE, and then you will receive an email according to your notifications setup, that your main email has changed.

IF you mean something else, you may need to provide more details so that I can be of any help further.

Note:
Just to let you know - I am a Partner of Ragic (as an external partner) but I am not a member of the personnel of Ragic. So, it is the Ragic’s platform you will have your data in, not “Our platform”

Hope that was helpful.

Thanks

B. When I set up the system some time ago I was using djm@grampianenergy.com and now I need to change this to davejmcg@aol.com.

I am slowly getting to grips with this and when I can make it work I will convert to a subscription.

This is directory of artisans and food producers. I will upload their data en mass an allow each to edit their own data and allow new artisans to create their own records.

Currently configuring the tables, next stage import base data from ACCESS or Excel and create user data screeen.

Hi @djm
Obviously as I have said before - Artisans and producers are going to be “guest users” or “external users” with specific access rights. That is ok and is beneficial for you in terms of costs.

In terms of the Email - as I told you - you have to go to Account setup.

In terms of the database that you are going to upload - check if you can download your data from MS Access to .CSV files - and then upload in Ragic those CSV files.

Since you have an MS Access DB - this means that you know the Data Types that you are going to use for the Sheet (or table) columns in Ragic. :+1: , this is a benefit, you will move towards Ragic faster.

Hi,

To change a user’s email address of Ragic user account, please use the “Change E-mail” button from that user record. You can refer to this documentation for detailed information: Internal Users
