When clicking a link in a subtable I always get a new browser tab in chrome, I like to stay in the same browser tab. Is this possible?

Any news on this I have a client who would like this, because the kind for solution he has requires you to jump between many related records and this opens a ton of new tabs.
Even if in JavaScript then we can make use of that.
