Right now, comments are great, but they are spread out over many sheets and forms, and there is no way to track them. If there would be a way to export a list of all comments or get a digest email that would help a lot for team management.
Hi,
Thanks for your suggestion, would you mind elaborating more on your expectation so we could forward the request to development team based on your need.
Such as what elements you would like see on the list, or just like collecting all the comments in notifications?
I guess the basic info would be fine, the person who commented, the time/date, and the record comment was added on to. If this could be emailed as a digest that would be best.
Thanks for the information, we would report the request to development team and keep you posted in this thread.
thanks!
Is there any news on this useful feature?
Hi,
Our developers are still working on this case. We will reply to this community thread once we have more related details.
This would make life much simpler and stop comments being forgotten or missed.
Is it something in the pipeline in the near future?
It would be great if it created a list of all comments in the task list and I could tick them off as complete when I am done with them.
Hi Kevob,
Thank you for your feedback! We’ve noted your interest and relayed it to the development team. We take a dynamic approach to releasing new features, weighing overall demand, synergies with our product roadmap, and technical complexity. At this stage, there’s no confirmed timeline for this feature, but we’ll be sure to update this thread if it becomes available.
In the meantime, it may help to know that Comments and Tasks are two separate features in Ragic. Since not every comment necessarily leads to an action item, our suggestion would be to manually create a Task for any comment that does require follow-up. Tasks support the “tick off when complete” functionality you’re looking for:
Alternatively, you can enable email notifications for Comments in your Notification settings — see here for how to set it up. With this enabled, each new comment will arrive as an email in your inbox. You can use your inbox as a lightweight to-do list: delete emails for comments that need no action right away, and only delete the ones that do require action once you’ve handled them.
Hope this helps in the meantime, and thanks for taking part in Ragic Community!
