Javascript in free tier?

I’m trying to use ChatGPT to code some Javascript to rename all images from field data, and export. Code looks sensible (what do I know?) but I can’t figure out where and how to put it in Ragic so there’s a button on a filtered list. ChatGPT is just too stupid to tell me how to set up a script. And then after a whole bunch of back-and-forth there’s one tiny sentence that suggests the free tier of Ragic may not support JS, or Action buttons, or whatever.

Anybody got some insight into what I’m doing wrong, or what’s possible, or how to do what I’m looking to do? Thanks!

Hi Greg,

It’s great to see you diving into JavaScript to customize your workflow! While AI can be a solid coding assistant, it often misses the nuance of specific platform limitations, which can definitely lead to some frustration.

To clarify your findings: the JavaScript Workflow Engine is an advanced feature available exclusively on our Professional plan and above. You’re right that the free tier does not support custom scripting.

If you choose to upgrade, you can find the full setup instructions for an Action Button Workflow in our documentation. You can also review the plan differences on our Pricing Page.
