I imported my data file, but the field of entry ID stayed empty, I was thinking it will give auto unique ID number as I set the entry ID to auto-generate … any help ? I need to have a unique ID for each entry

For imported entries, you can use populate empty values to fill in the ID number. In the future, please check the “Fill in default field value” option in the advanced setting when you import entries:
