How can I autogenerate a field depending on another field ? I would like to create a field with a sequence number starting with 1 at each new invoice.

If you are looking for generating separate set of sequence number based on a field (e.g. category), sorry that it’s currently not supported, but we do have plan to implement this feature. We will let you know once it’s online!
As for now, you can use formula to combine string of an auto-generate field and your free text (category) field, but different category would share same sequence number.

We’ve released this new feature: Now you can set Auto Generate Field to generate sequence numbers based on the specified selection field value now. Please refer to this document for more details. : )
