Events & Tasks - Hide from External User Groups

I would like the events and tasks section to be hidden from external user groups. Currently, external groups can add tasks and assign them to any user in the system, so they can see the full name to any of our other clients. I don’t know if anyone has found this, but there needs to be a way to disable it for security purposes.
