Email sending and tracking

Hi, I am not a developer, so bear with me.
I am wondering if there is a tutorial that can help me create a way to send and track and email to records that match a criteria. For example, if I have 10 records that all have a common criteria, I’d like to query for that criteria, then send an email to all of them. I’d like to then show in each of their records that the email was sent.

I appreciate any help you can give me on this. I do understand relational databases and have successfully set up one that met our needs. But our needs are changing:)


You can filter out the entries that match the criteria from the left sidebar first. Then, send emails via the mass email.

Once the email sent, it will pop up in the email thread, at the bottom right corner, on the form page:
