Download As Excel - Saving Custom Fields Setting

My users are complaining that they can’t save custom fields settings when exporting (downloading) data to Excel. What I am told is that they can save a custom field to use for future use to keep consistency, but when they go to pull the data on the following day from the same location using their saved fields settings it is not there to use and they have to do it all over again. I have seen another post about this but it is not the same exact issue that I am having. There are no special characters used in the naming conventions, it just doesn’t stay available on their pop up window when attempting to export to Excel.

Did the custom field settings stay for a while after saving it and then disappear a few hours or days later, or did the custom field settings fail to save every time?

Sorry for the late reply to this, Fabio. I have seen both instances happen with this issue. In some cases it would not show immediately after creating and saving and then other times it would be there one day and then by some time on the next day if the same report was trying to be pulled it would not have the saved settings.

Some times this happens still and sometimes it sticks. Not sure if this is human error on my users’ part or if its some weird glitch with something within the system. Either way, this is not a major issue so I don’t need an immediate solution or anything like that. I just wanted to make support aware of the potential issue.
