Date Field Format Type - Month and Year Only or Year Only?

Is it possible to have a date field that can be formatted as MM/YYYY and just YYYY for when you don’t need a specific date but do need a year or month to refer to?

Hi,

We only allow one type of format in a field. Hence, you’ll need to either use MM/YYYY or YYYY. :slight_smile:

Thanks Angie. The YYYY format is not working for me; this is what I meant to explain in the original post. Please can you advise?

Hi,

For year in the date field, please use “yyyy”.

Thanks but as I’ve previously mentioned, I’ve tried the yyyy format and it doesn’t work. And now whatever date I enter it returns a validation error message, so I’m unable to update any entries. Please advise if there’s anything else I can do.
