I am trying to format a field so that it shows the number with a hyphen automatically inserted into the correct place. Unfortunately, I can’t figure out a way to do it. Maybe it’s not possible at this time.
XX-XXXXXXX formats the field so that there is a hyphen after the first two characters. However, I want to put a hyphen in front of the last 7 characters.
For example: ABCD1234567 will show as AB-CD1234567 if I use the formatting above. What I actually want to see is ABCD-1234567. The problem arises from the fact that the first letters before the hyphen can be 2 to 4 characters long.
