I am using Ragic for Sales Order management, warehousing and logistics, and accounting. Everything ties together to some form or fashion to create cohesion and simplify how departments can search for specific orders or bills of lading, etc. That said, I have created a custom email action button that is meant to be used once my customer service/inside sales reps have submitted a sales order to the Ragic database. The button has been titled “Send Order Acknowledgment” and it includes all the applicable information as intended plus a PDF copy of the sales order.
The problem, however, is that now I have a need to start storing documents within each sales order submittal in the form of a field to upload images/pdfs/etc. To cut down on manual entry and double working. Because of this, I would have to include these fields for users to be able to upload these documents and those fields will then be on the PDF version of the file that they send out and I don’t want to include those specific cells if at all possible. Is there a way I can limit the cells/fields that are included in the attached PDF or somehow hide the cells when the email is sent but they are still visible to my employees for audit purposes?
