Are there any plan for supporting MCP (Model Context Protocol) in the near future?

Thanks to Jeff and the Ragic team for their continuous improvement on the Ragic platform.

We are keenly interested in the potential of using AI Agents to interact with Ragic and wanted to inquire if there are any plans for supporting the Model Context Protocol (MCP) in the near future.

MCP offers a standardized way for AI models to access external data sources and tools, much like a universal connector for AI applications. If Ragic could offer some kind of built-in support, potentially by acting as an MCP server or providing an official MCP integration, it would allow AI Agents to interact directly with Ragic’s database and functionalities.
This integration could significantly increase the automation potential of the Ragic system with Agentic AI, freeing human users from many mundane tasks by enabling AI agents to plan, reason, and execute complex workflows directly within Ragic. After all, data and databases are designed to be utilized, and empowering AI agents to leverage Ragic data autonomously would open up many new possibilities for organizations.
Given that MCP is rapidly becoming an open standard adopted by major AI providers like OpenAI and Google DeepMind, we believe this could be a truly transformative step for Ragic.

@jeff_kuo Love to hear your thoughts.

Thank

We do see the trend of MCP becoming more and more popular, and we will be monitoring this technology closely. This is certainly something that we will most likely support in the future, kind of like the HTTP RESTful API for AI, but we would like to wait for the tech to mature a little more and focus on our own AI features for now.
