I have a small name and address database. Most of the fields are free text. I would like to use name case so all the names are correctly capitalised when entered manually . I notice the formula supports PROPER() , how do I use this for data entry. If I try and use this on the field where I want name case I get get a circular data error . Any idea’s without creating lots of duplicate fields.

Hi,

Currently, you can only capitalize names with the formula PROPER().

I have submitted some feedback about this to our developers and if we get any update, we can notify you in the future. Would you like to provide your email address so you can be notified?

We now support the “AutoCapitalize Each Word” attribute to capitalize the initial letter:

Note: this attribute will capitalize the initial letter at the front end only, but won’t affect the value stored at the back end.
