Besides using Filters to select a group of records, it would be super helpful if records can be filtered out by checking a checkbox beside each record. This way, records can be easily filtered out much quicker.

When checking checkboxes to select records, what type of operations are you thinking of doing for these selected records? Deletion or mass update? It would be helpful to understand your full use case.
Filter the selected then able to do mass deletion, mass update, mass email, mass Export…

Another thing would be able to use the checkboxes to select multiple entries or filter out multiple entries even they have no specific relation to each other across different pages.
